概要

佐賀県有田市で作陶する山本亮平さんの個展を開催いたします。山本さんは地域の木と土を使い、自ら築いた土窯で焼成を重ね、今年で6年目を迎えます。自然の変化を受け入れながら生まれる器の表情は、一つひとつに静かな命を吹き込んでいます。初期伊万里や肥前古陶磁の伝統を礎に、白瓷や染付、灰陶など多彩な技法で日常に寄り添う器を制作。特に近年は白瓷と染付の境界が曖昧になる表現を模索し、その繊細な揺らぎが作品に深みを与えています。土と炎、時間の積み重ねがもたらす豊かな味わいを宿し、使うほどに表情を深め暮らしの中で静かに存在感を放つ器たち。今回は日常使いの食器に加え、茶器や酒器、花入れなど幅広くご紹介します。どうぞ手に取り、土窯の息づかいを感じる器をご覧ください。

We are pleased to present a solo exhibition of Ryohei Yamamoto, a ceramic artist based in Arita, Saga Prefecture. Using local wood and clay, Yamamoto fires his work in a self-built clay kiln, now in its sixth year. Embracing natural variations, each piece carries a quiet vitality. Rooted in the traditions of early Imari and old Hizen ceramics, he creates vessels using diverse techniques such as white porcelain (hakuji), underglaze blue (sometsuke), and ash-glazed stoneware. Recently, he has explored the delicate boundary between white porcelain and underglaze blue, adding subtle depth to his work. His pieces, shaped by earth, flame, and time, gain character with use and quietly enrich everyday life. This exhibition features a wide range of his creations, including daily tableware, tea and sake vessels, and flower vases. We invite you to hold these works and feel the breath of the clay kiln.
