概要
佐賀県唐津の陶芸家・梶原靖元さんと佐賀県有田の絵付師・村上三和子さんの展覧会を開催いたします。梶原さんは最古の登り窯跡である飯洞甕窯跡の近くに窯を構え、土や砂岩の採集から釉薬作り、登り窯での焼成まですべて自身で行われています。古唐津の復元に向けて素材や焼成方法など常に研究を重ねながら作陶を続けられています。村上さんは上絵の伝統工芸士として伊万里、有田を拠点に活動されています。のびやかで生き生きとした筆遣いで伝統的な絵柄から現代的なデザインまで幅広く手掛けられます。今展では梶原さんと村上さんの共作の作品を出展いただきます。どうぞご高覧下さいませ。
We are pleased to present an exhibition of Yasumoto Kajihara, a potter from Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, and Miwako Murakami, a pottery painter from Arita, Saga Prefecture. Mr. Kajihara has a kiln near the remains of the Handogame Kiln, the oldest climbing kiln, and does everything himself, from collecting soil and sandstone to making glaze and firing in the climbing kiln. He continues to make pottery while constantly researching materials and firing methods to revival the old Karatsu style. Ms. Murakami is based in Imari and Arita as a traditional craftsman of overglaze painting. She values her own individuality, and the lines she draws are freely and lively, and her work ranges from traditional patterns to contemporary designs. In this exhibition, we will exhibit their collaborative works.
