概要

写真を撮るために用意されているものは何もない場所に行って、そこで自分にとっての「写真」を探す。大阪の街を撮り始めたのは、昨年5月のこと。別に大阪らしさを求めたわけではない。都市と人のいる状況を客観する、そこに興味があった。
　ひたすら歩いて街と対話し、何かが見えたと思えば、手当たり次第にシャッターを切る。実際、写真との間に親密な関係さえ保てれば、天王寺から梅田までの距離も夢中で徘徊できたし、その道中には予期しない波風が起きたりもする。雑踏の中で途方に暮れ、目的を見失うこともある。そんな浮き沈みの最中、意図を超えた写真の「一枚」は、撮影する本人にも気づかない意外な瞬間に生まれているものだ。
そこから見えてきたのが、自分にとっての new world 。たぶん私は、力づくでは動かない何かを、私なりのやり方で動かそうとしているのだと思う。（酒井一貴）

I go to places where there is nothing prepared for taking pictures and look for the “photo” for me there.I started photographing the city of Osaka in May last year. There was no demand for something Osaka-like.The reason for this is my interest in objectively observing the situation of cities and people.
I walk all the way and interact with the city, and when I feel like I can see something, I randomly snap the shutter.In fact, as long as I maintain a close relationship with photography, I can wander the 7km distance from Tennoji to Umeda.Along the way, I may encounter unexpected events, or get lost in the crowd and lose sight of my purpose.While experiencing such ups and downs, at a certain moment that I didn’t even realize, the unique “photo” for me is born.
There　I discover a new world for myself.Perhaps I am trying to move something in my own way, something that cannot be done by force.（Kazutaka Sakai)
