概要

金属作家・秋野ちひろの個展を開催致します。

真鍮を切り、叩き、生まれる線の造形を主とする秋野ちひろは、金属のもつ重さや硬さ、そして権威的な形から逃れるように制作を続けています。

彼女の線は、時に弱々しく不確かで頼りない。

金属を介して、光の反射や吸収、空間に召喚される現象をこそ扱っているように思えるのです。

その揺らぎやリズムは、我々の意識の外側にある、取るに足らない、しかしながら大切な何かを現しているような気がしてなりません。

今展では、影の中に浮かび上がる線の造形と、面が連なって生まれる光のコラージュを、古家の空間の光でお届けします。

We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition by metal artist Chihiro Akino.

Working primarily with the lines born from cutting and hammering brass, Akino continues her practice as if escaping from the weight, hardness, and authoritative forms that metal often carries.

Her lines are at times fragile, uncertain, and tenuous. Yet their wavering rhythm seems to reveal something insignificant yet essential, lying just beyond our conscious awareness. Through metal, she appears to be dealing not merely with form, but with phenomena themselves—light’s reflection and absorption, and the subtle presences summoned into space.

In this exhibition, we present both the lines that emerge within shadow and the collages of light generated by the succession of planes, brought to life by the light within this old house.
