Overview
I use a unique technique called“woodblock silicon scraping”.
I make a threedimensional development drawing
with woodblock, and I make the work in the
same way as casting with silicon.
The work will be a set of three points:
“Woodcut of a three-dimensional development drawing”,
“Three-dimensional assembled woodblock”,
and “Silicon three-dimensional modeled from woodblock”.
I am interested in old Japanese culture,
and I focus on the “invisible back part” of each culture,
and express them in combination
with my own interpretation and things
that exist in modern times.
