The annual KCUA Transmit Program features emerging artists selected from BFA, MFA, or PhD degree holders who graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts (KCUA) within the past three years. Through this program, @KCUA introduces artists emerging from the Japanese cultural capital and provides support for these artists throughout the school year (April to March). This year’s artists are Sae Fujita (2017 MFA in Printmaking), Sayoko Kobayashi (2017 PhD in Nihonga), Yohei Kumano (2016 MFA in Concept and Media Planning), and Momoko Yoshida (2016 MFA in Oil Painting).
