Overview
haku kyoto is pleased to announce an artist in residency and an exhibition by the dutch artist Sander Wassink.Sander Wassink has been living and working in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, since 2012. The artist has presented works in several museums in Europe and developed in various projects internationally.
haku kyoto and Sander Wassink create an open studio space in the first half of the period, then into an exhibition space in the last week. Wassink gives the title for this exhibition, “Just visiting“. The subject can be the artists and us as spectators or even other parties. As soon as we change the status or position of the matter, we realise that it opens us to various meanings and perspectives. We are curious to glimpse Wassink’s
speculation and life in Kyoto as a visitor influence his idea.
