Description
After having played an active part as knit designer in “little Cyclops” or “FICCE UOMO” which were predominant in generation in the 1980s, handicrafts writer Naoko Shimoda crosses to United States New York and we are charmed by simple folk art and antique material and walk way as handicrafts writer. We published knit work which we designed by oneself serially in “woolen yarn lump” (Japanese vogue company) and, after returning home, won great popularity and were chosen as one of today’s writer with seri*銈kai and Fukumi Shimura by “modern dyeing and weaving” exhibition held in Fukushima Prefectural Museum in 1993. “Crochet is interesting” and “crochet is good,” publishes (together the culture publication station) for 2,006 years for 2,005 years, and it is exceptional blockbuster product selling higher than 100,000 copies as handicrafts book and acquires wide constituency. We announce book of handicrafts for various genres afterwards. The total sales number of copies amounts than Part 700000. As for the style, technique such as patchwork, embroidery, applique, knitting, sewing makes full use of various kinds of material such as antique lace and cloth, beads, felt which we gathered by oneself from the start and are produced and show multi-yellowtail which there is not in handicrafts world. In addition, we are said to be “instigator of handmade bag”.It is display with bag and accessory of masterpiece, work and having not yet occurred principal crop, approximately 350 points including new work to be said to be pop art work beyond handicrafts including accessories including knit work produced early by book exhibition.
