【Application Overview】
The “CAF Award” is intended to support student creative activities and support the work of students from high schools, universities, graduate schools, vocational schools all over Japan, and students who have Japanese nationality and are enrolled in overseas educational institutions. It is one of the largest art awards in Japan for the purpose of promoting contemporary art. One person with the highest award will receive a prize of 1 million yen, and a supplementary prize will be given the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition. In addition, one prize of excellence will be awarded a prize of 500,000 yen, and four judges’ prizes will be awarded a prize of 300,000 yen each.

【Qualification requirements】
・Students belonging to high schools, universities, graduate schools, vocational schools nationwide at the time of application, or students who were students as of March 2022
・Those who have Japanese nationality or who live in Japan
・Multiple people such as units and collectives can apply. However, all must meet the participation qualifications
Each person can submit one entry, regardless of size or format. However, the exhibition method can be consulted at the time of judging or exhibition.
・The submitted work can be transported to Tokyo (shipping costs are borne by the foundation in principle, and some consultation areas are available).
・It is possible to announce the profile, name, and portrait image at the time of the award.
