【Application Overview】
We are open to applications from artists who have a few years of professional experience, particularly in relation to finishing their education. Our average applicants have a BA/MA degree and are between 25 and 35 years old, however it is not a prerequisite to have had a formal art education.
Artists who have participated in other post academic institutions in the Netherlands (Jan van Eyck or De Ateliers), cannot be considered for a Rijksakademie residency.
