The Arts Territory Exchange (aTE)
We are interested to hear from artists, writers and performers who consider ideas of place, (local/natural or domestic) to be inherent to their practice. Preoccupations may include; ecology and climate change, cartography and navigation, botany or other natural taxonomies, walking and transient practices, critique of colonial histories and the politics of place, boundaries and ‘territory’ and virtual geographies. We currently have members in locations as diverse as Suffolk UK, Iceland, the Mojave desert and Alaska. We have a particular interest in making connections between those in remote or wilderness locations although anyone is welcome to apply.
